# Registry Verify

Registry Verify matches a supplied business name against official Florida
Division of Corporations data. It returns source-backed candidate records for
agentic Know Your Business workflows.

## Current access

The homepage has a reviewer preview capped at three searches per connection
per hour and 30 searches across the site per hour. Public signup is closed.

Paid agent access is a private pilot. Its payment endpoint is not configured
or published yet. Do not call or publish the private upstream route.

## What a result contains

The result contains the query, match count, candidate matches, dataset metadata,
and interpretation guidance. Candidate matches can include the Florida document
number, entity name, source-reported status, filing type, filing date, location,
registered agent, officers, name-similarity score, and source provenance.

## Required interpretation

A result is a candidate name match, not proof of identity. Status is reported
from the Florida source file. Similarity measures the entity name only. A
no-match response does not prove that a business is absent from Florida records.
Registry Verify currently covers Florida only.

## Service health

Use /health to confirm the web process is running. Use /ready to confirm the
database, data freshness, and recent traffic state are healthy. Use /data-status
to inspect represented source dates and coverage.
